We have been integrating Louisiana Believes curriculum into our English Language Arts program for 3rd through 8th graders. Louisiana Believes are units of study that were developed to ensure that content delivered to students covers all academic standards and is differentiated to meet a variety of student learning needs. The program is not all that different than the Engage New York Units of study that we were using these past two years in our middle school. Louisiana Believes units offer more of a variety of novels, supporting texts, and writing opportunities.
