Prayer for Our Children

Dearest Lord,

Help me foster a household of physical, emotional and spiritual health.

May our household promote an abiding sense of safety and security so our child has the courage to face the horizons and challenges of each day.
Grant our child a calm spirit to hear the voice of God.

May our child have a willingness to listen carefully, a clear mind both to learn and recall, a generous spirit toward family and friends, and an unshakable self-worth and personal dignity.

Bless our child’s teachers, mentors, and counselors with wisdom, patience, and fortitude. May our household always love and serve you.
