Greg Flattery has been a member of Three Holy Women parish since 2006. He attended Catholic grade school and high school in Fr. Dodge, IA and then Loras College in Dubuque, IA where he was involved in the music ministry on campus. Upon moving to Milwaukee in 2006 he started attending mass at St. Rita’s, where he met his wife Liz. They have three children, Colin, Maeve, and Ronan, who attend Catholic East Elementary and have been members of the Catholic East community since Colin started in K3 in 2013. 

Greg has over 20 years of experience as a high school music teacher, working in Iowa and Nebraska before moving to Milwaukee in 2006. Greg taught at Messmer High School from 2007-2013 and then became a music teacher in the growing Carmen network in 2013. He taught at both NW and South campuses for 4 years and then became the full time music teacher at the South campus in 2017. He is also the musical director at South campus where he has directed over 10 productions. Greg has also performed as an amateur and professional actor in numerous theater productions over the last 30 years in Dubuque, IA, Lincoln, NE, Evansville IN, Okoboji, IA, Lancaster, PA and Milwaukee! Greg is also very involved with coaching his children on various sports teams; assistant coach boys baseball, assistant coach boys soccer, head coach girls soccer and head coach of the Catholic East 7th/8th grade boys basketball team this last year. 

Greg is excited to bring his passion for education and experience as an urban educator over the last 15 years to the School Advisory Committee. He will work to live by the value of seeking first to understand before being understood.
