Lori Lester has been a Three Holy Women parishioner for more than 20 years. She and her husband, Keith, have three daughters: Lauren, who married Kyle Yarberry at St. Hedwig’s in 2012 and are living on Bainbridge Island, WA; Stephanie, a graduate of the University of Minnesota living in Seattle, WA; and Danielle, who is a senior at Virginia Tech studying Electrical Engineering. Lori has worked in education for more than 30 years and recently retired from Wauwatosa Public Schools where she served as an elementary principal.

Lori started her career in the Milwaukee Public Schools as a teacher, working at Westside Academy and Maryland Avenue Montessori School for a combined 10 years. After moving to Whitefish Bay, she taught fifth grade for four years, and the Gifted and Talented program for three years. For the past 18 years, she served the West Allis and Wauwatosa communities as an elementary school principal.

As a CEE Advisory Board Member, Lori is excited to continue to serve our parish school. She feels that, although it is a challenging time to be in education, the recent challenges offer many opportunities to look at education through a new lens. She looks forward to working with the other board members and Mr. Gonzalez to not only sustain the great programs at Catholic East but to enhance the faith-based education and intellectual growth of our students.
